Selecting a size will depend on your skin type, experience, and the result you're trying to obtain. However, a general rule is to always start with a smaller size like the 0.25mm dermaroller to help your skin ease into the treatment.

Gin Amber Beauty dermaroller needles are made of surgical stainless steel (which is why they are so sharp, which makes dermarolling more efficient and safer).
With proper execution and using a real dermaroller, it's not as painful as it seems! Using real dermarollers creates even punctures rather than tears that harm the skin making the experience better and with guaranteed results through continuous use. However, do note that the deeper the needle size, the more likely it is to cause discomfort. But you can minimize it by applying a numbing cream.
We strongly recommend using the dermaroller (any size) no more than 10 times. With each use, needles naturally become dull. For optimal results, you want the sharpest needles possible to properly stimulate new growth. That’s why we’ve included a checklist on our dermaroller boxes, so you can mark off each use and easily keep track.
Always consider what to apply after because not only is our skin more sensitive, this can also affect the healing process. Our serums, creams, and sheet masks (except Retinol) have been specifically developed to be safe to use after dermarolling. Each has its own targeted benefits but can also work together to boost efficiency and overall improve our skin's appearance.
If you choose to use other brands, please make sure the products don’t contain toxic or irritating ingredients such as fragrance/parfum, parabens, phthalates, SLS, or drying alcohols. Learn more HERE.
We do not recommend using Retinol products right after dermarolling. For post-microneedling, it would vary on the percentage or strength of the retinol used and the size of your dermaroller.
Because alcohol dries out the skin and heavily disrupts its protective lipid barrier, we no longer recommend it. Instead, we’ve developed a TOXIC-FREE® and gentle way to disinfect the dermaroller and skin.
For disinfecting the skin,
Apply a pump of Foam Cleanser to your fingertips and gently spread it onto your skin. Allow the foam to remain for at least 1 minute to help eliminate germs and residue. It's important to let the Foam break down completely, as contact time is vital for optimal results. After a minute has passed, gently wipe your skin with a dry or damp cloth, but do not rinse it off.
For disinfecting the dermaroller,
Apply 2-3 pumps of Foam Cleanser to your dermaroller. Let it sit on an open case and allow the foam to break down completely. Contact time is vital for optimal results in eliminating germs and residue. After the foam has settled down, you do not need to wipe your microneedling tool. Apply 2-3 pumps of Foam Cleanser again after the treatment to sanitize the roller after use.

Yes, it comes in a plastic protective case and is sealed in hygienic wrapping for your safety upon first use.
If you're a beginner, limit your session to no more than 5 minutes, including the neck area. If you're advanced (have used the dermaroller for more than 20 sessions) you can extend it up to 10 minutes.
This depends on the size of the roller that you used: With a 0.25 and 0.5 mm dermaroller you can do it the next morning, or after about 12 hours. With a 1.0 mm, it is recommended to wait a full day, 24 hours.
Yes, both of these are typical reactions after dermarolling. The longer the needle, the longer these effects may last due to deeper skin penetration. In general, redness should diminish within 12 hours, and the 'sunburn' sensation should subside within 24 hours.

Microneedle therapy is a long-term, cumulative process. Permanent reduction in wrinkles and scars occurs when new collagen and elastin are stimulated, and new skin is generated. You'll usually see results within 4 to 8 treatments, though some may notice improvements as early as the next day.
Bleeding is extremely rare with our Real Individual Needles® dermarollers, thanks to the precise, fine needles and carefully selected depths. While minimal pinpoint bleeding may occur with longer needles, especially on areas where the skin is thin or close to bone, most users experience none at all. This is in sharp contrast to wheel-style dermarollers, which are more likely to cause unnecessary trauma and bleeding due to the use of fake needles.

For beginners, roll each area 3–5 times. Advanced users can roll 5–10 times, with a maximum of 15 passes per area. Always roll upward and outward.

You should never roll on active acne, cold sores, or any raised/patchy skin abnormalities as this could spread and cause infections.
Do not use a dermaroller of any size on recently tweezed, waxed, or threaded areas. These areas are often tender, and rolling on sensitized skin can increase the risk of irritation or unwanted reactions. We recommend waiting at least 72 hours before treating those areas.
Yes, but it is advisable to wait 2 weeks before or after an injection.
